Implants
Technology again saves the day! If you are missing one or all of your teeth, implants dramatically improve dental health. Implants are man-made roots that act as a foundation for the attached prosthetics. The attached prosthetic can be a single crown or a fixed bridge. It can also be a special attachment that holds a complete denture in place. So no more loosely fitting dentures that need tons of goop to hold them in place.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are bonded to your teeth to make an immediate difference in your smile and self-image. Veneers are conservative as well as beautiful. Discolorations, gaps, chips and malpositioned teeth can all be corrected with veneers. You will enjoy many years with your new smile.

Composite Bonding
Tooth colored composite material is bonded directly to the tooth. Within minutes a beautiful smile is created. Composite is not as long lasting as porcelain veneers, but it is still a wonderful economic solution to chips, discolorations and gaps.

Teeth Whitening
Whitening is a wonderfully simple procedure used to literally wash away stains from coffee, smoking, food and even aging. It is performed leisurely at home. In a short time your smile is as bright as the stars!

White Fillings
No more ugly, black and unsightly silver fillings. Advances in technology allow Dr. Speckman to create beautiful bonded white composite fillings that strengthen teeth. The old silver fillings actually fracture teeth over time and routinely break teeth. Studies have shown that as high as 90% of silver fillings, (yes, an unbelievable amount) have decay under them. The new composite fillings don’t fracture teeth, they reinforce them. Replacing the old leaking silver fillings is one of the best things you could do to keep your teeth healthy for a lifetime.

One Visit All Porcelain Crowns – Cerec Pix Laser Technology
Bonded all porcelain crowns are works of art. In the past, crowns were made of metal and porcelain. They had a dull, lifeless appearance. Many had an unsightly “black Line” or metal margin. The all porcelain crowns create an artistically beautiful smile. The CEREC machine is a CAD/CAM instrument. A computer allows Dr. Speckman to design and mill a conservative porcelain restoration and bond it to your tooth. The CEREC machine allows Dr. Speckman to complete an all porcelain crown in one visit. That means no gooey impression material running down your throat! No temporary crown that falls off at the worst possible time. And since you have a life and your time is valuable, no return appointment weeks later to have the permanent crown placed. Best of all, you don’t endure a second shot. Very few dentist possess a CEREC machine and have the capability and skill to perform this service. Patients love the ease at which a work of art is created. They also appreciate the convenience.

Sopro
Sopro has arrived!  Now a special camera can detect decay using fluorescence.  Decay can be distinguished from healthy tooth with Sopro Technology.  Healthy tooth fluoresces green while decay fluoresces red.  Now there is a way to distinguish decay from harmless stain found on the tops of teeth.

Laser
Dr. Speckman has had a laser since 2001.  The laser allows him to restore small cavities painlessly without anesthetic.  The laser can also be used in place of the old electrosurgery unit that burned tissue off.  Now gum tissue can be removed using the laser without charring.  Many surgical procedures can now be performed with a laser without the need to cut with a scalpel.
